ABOUT RICCI’S

Ricci’s Tapas and Cicchetti brings together seasonal, fresh ingredients with a touch of Balearic style and creativity. We offer small tapas-style plates packed with irresistible flavours, including favourites like Mini Chorizo cooked in El Gaitero Cider and Sweet Potato Wedges with Figs, Chilli and Goats’ Cheese. Every dish is made to order using fresh local produce, alongside unique artisan ingredients sourced from around the world.

We think tapas is a great way to eat – it’s fun, informal and social, and encourages diners to dig in to something delicious while the wine and conversation flows. We’ve designed our two restaurants in Halifax and Leeds with laid-back communal dining in mind, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a Mediterranean home from home.

Drinks are an important part of our menu too, with a superb range of beers, wines, champagnes and cocktails on offer, including Estrella Galicia on draught. If you’d rather not book in advance or are dining alone, you can simply pull up a chair at our chef’s table and enjoy a couple of tasty plates alongside a cold beer or a glass of wine – there’s a warm welcome for everybody.

I've eaten here with my wife and also business meetings with colleagues, but today my 4 year old so and I decided to call for lunch. There weren't any tables available as the place is so popular, but the bar was free, so we decided to eat there. This is great because it means that you can watch the chefs work. Despite the 3 chefs having a full restaurant and the constant stream of orders, Ben and Mark were wonderful with my son, chatting to him, cooking him a bespoke pasta dish and making us feel so welcome.the food was outstanding, as it always is. This is tapas as it should be, with service to match. Just brilliant.

For a few months we'd heard great things about Ricci's Tapas, but never got round to paying a visit. So for a birthday celebration we finally gave it a go! Turns out everything that people had said was true! Great atmosphere, hardworking staff, good quality food and cool interior decor. All in all, resulting in a brilliant evening with the family. A breath of fresh air for the Halifax scene. We'll be returning

We went last Saturday with friends who have been raving about Ricci's for over a year, so expectations were high. It was even better than I expected though - the cooking was really excellent. Soft shell crabs, roasted sweet potato with goats cheese and figs ( who thought that one up!) Salmon Tartare, an Asparagus, peas and cream combo - all perfectly executed. The meat eaters amongst us were perfect;y catered for too, it was all utterly delicious, and I am looking forward to our next visit.

5 star - went here for a farewell dinner with family before flying back to Aus. Was delicious. Great menu, friendly staff and great decor. Really enjoyed the meal and would definitely want to go back next trip.

We went to Ricci's as a group (4 adults, 2 children) the service was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff. The food choice was excellent and such a variety. Cannot wait to go again.

Always excellent food. The menu changes frequently so it stays fresh and exciting. The serviced is also excellent and the staff always recommend good white wines to go with seafood. Exceptional and the only restaurant to go to in Halifax.

We visited on Saturday lunchtime and were not disappointed. We have eaten here before and been impressed with the quality of the food. We chose 15 items for 5 of us, which was about right. The Suckling Pig was to die for! We cleared every plate! Service was slick and friendly. It's nice to be able to watch the chefs working hard in the open kitchen. We will return.

ll eat Ricci's. I think that I will be visiting regularly as the food is exceptional and very tasty. I really like tapas as I love trying a forest dishes and Ricci's has so many to choose from. Service is good and there is a nice atmosphere. The food is not too prices either. Ricci's ticks all the boxes for me.

Really cool place. Fast service and a nice atmosphere. Cauliflower Fritters and Mini Chorizo Burger were gorgeous. Cheeseboard was perfect to finish off the meal. Will definitely go back.

For a long times Halifax was missing something special, Until now, Ricci's Tapas is the best restaurant I have ever eaten in my entire life. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful - and the food is exquisite, especially the Suckling Pig. I had dreams over how good that pig was! The restaurant isn't overly large, but every visit it has been full.] you must book in advance to avoid disappointment. _ Also try the Cauliflower Fritters - totally amazing.

Perfect service, beautiful food and friendly staff. Spiced Cauliflower Fritters, baked garlic and rosemary Mont d' Or and the Cod Masala are to die for... And the desserts, well, there are quite simply no adjectives to describe them. You'll just have to come and try the Lemon Trio and the Flourless Orange Cake..... Dean Clough Mills was once the largest carpet factory in the world, it was saved by the late Jonathan Silver in the '80s and has been avidly supported by the Prince of Wales, who keeps an eye on it. Nowadays Dean Clough is full of independent business' - Jack Will's clothing etc.

Ricci's is probably the most stylish restaurant in town, and is incredibly popular. Rightly so, for it combines wonderful food from an imaginative menu, a splendid selection of wines, beers and cocktails, and the most attentive, knowledgeable and friendliest staff that you could wish for. (Ask Alex from Detroit) on a summers evening you can dine outside, and then wander down to the best bar in town - 53 Degrees North for a lively scene in a lovely part of the same mill complex. I cannot recommend Ricci's too highly' it really is worth a visit, and that's a fact.
